BREW'D UP

In collaboration with the black brewery, Crafted Culture, GRND presents “Brew’d Up”. “Brew’d Up” is an engaging event designed for couples aged 21 and above, with a focus on making beer brewing an intimate and educational experience. The event features a presentation by Sizzle, the Co-founder of “Crafted Culture” and an expert on beer history, adding depth to the experience. Lasting approximately two and a half hours, the event allows each couple to actively participate in the beer-making process. This includes hands-on activities like mixing grain by hand and selecting ingredients, enhancing their understanding of brewing. Additionally, participants will pour their grain into a fermenter, contributing to the communal batch.

Each couple will make their own 6 pack which will be ready for pick up at the new Crafted Culture location opening on February 2nd. The beer that will be made at the January event is an IPA called “Black is Beautiful” which will lead us into Black History Month. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the National Black Brewers Association which will have GRND listed on their website as a contributor.  The event is $50 per couple and will include music, and light refreshments, and a one of a kind experience to share with someone special.
